Kingston Locomotive Works is owned and operated by David Cook. The company was established in June 2017 and is located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada (home of the former Canadian Locomotive Company, known locally as the "Locomotive Works"). I started this venture after re-entering the hobby following a long absence and being disappointed by the poor customer service from the physical stores and online retailers I dealt with. I knew I could do better, and set out to improve on the shopping experience others were providing. There's still a ways to go, but thousands of satisfied customers and many "regulars" later I think we're making good progress. I've been fortunate to meet some amazing people thus far, and hope to continue helping others enjoy this great hobby for many years to come. I'm a member of the Associated Railroaders of Kingston (ARK) executive, and volunteer weekly as part of the train maintenance crew at the Pumphouse Museum.
