Baby" #4 arrived on Tuesday February 16, 1999. It weighs about 1000 pounds and is about 65 inches tall. She doesn't have a name yet so, we are open to suggestions.Baby's twin sister arrived on February 25, 1999. Once we ran a few tests on the first new machine, we decided to go ahead with a second machine right away. The new machines are significantly faster and more accurate than our older equipment.
Ever since we started Digitrax over 6 years ago, we have had a chronic problem with having more orders for our products than we could fill. We have continued to build more and more product each month and thanks to our loyal customers, we still need to continue to increase production to keep up with demand! These new surface mount "robots" should help us increase production significantly!
We have had several suggestions for names for the first machine. Our favorites so far are "Happy" because we will all be happy to get our goodies sooner and SaManTha for SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
More names: R2D2 & C3PO (Sorry, but we don't speak Star Wars here, we are Star Trek Fans!)
Peaches & Creme (Might be appropriate for the Peach State, Very Sweet)
Rename them All: 1st baby: Hope (Hope we survive in the digital business). 2nd baby: Money (We might actually make some), 3rd baby: Doit (As in this one should do it!), 4th baby: Deliverous (From these backorders), 5th baby: Justin (Just in case 4 isn't enough).
