There are a few tools, which you will need for trouble shooting.
- A good VOM ( volt, ohm, milliamp meter ), also called a multimeter, is indispensable in measuring voltage and resistance. Most any of the inexpensive meters will do.
- A United States 25 cent piece, or similar size coin, sometimes called a quarter. Hence, the quarter test!
- The printed owners manuals or Adobe Acrobat versions.
- Small hand tools.
- The LT-1 which is included with the starter sets.
- Patience.
